I joined the Verlo Mattress team shortly after it was acquired by the Marcus Family (theaters, hotels, restaurants). My role as art director quickly morphed into a creative catch-all that included product design, vendor relations, team attire, retail spaces, interior and exterior signage, front-end website and app design and more. I was the creative lead for a total re-branding effort, including; iconography, interior and exterior design and way-finding, total website redesign and the creation, implementation and documentation of brand standards. Day to day tasks included marketing creative for 24 corporate and franchise retail stores; supervision of a creative team including an intern, a graphic designer, a writer and a project manager; direction and set-styling, model acquisition and selection in-studio and on-site still, product and video.
